ANDREA LOCATELLI | MOTO2

The 2013 national Italian Moto3 champion, Locatelli rode in minimoto competition from 2003 to 2007, then moved on to MiniGP before being selected to ride in Junior Grand Prix Aprilia Team to ride in the Italian 125 SP Cup in 2010. He remained in that series in 2011 winning five of the six races, before moving into the CIV (Italian national championship) in 2012. In 2013 he rode a competitive Mahindra machine to four wins and two additional podiums to clinch the CIV Moto3 title. He rides a Mahindra again in 2014, joining the Grand Prix scene full time with the San Carlo Team Italia team. This year he’ll be racing in the Moto2 World Championship, riding for Italtrans Racing Team on a Kalex.
